Following his academic accomplishments, Dr. Letswere embarked on a commendable journey back to Botswana, dedicating over five years to public service. During this period, he assumed pivotal roles in various hospital appointments, notably serving as the Coordinator for the Accreditation & Performance Improvement process at the DentaI Unit of Princess Marina Referral Hospital and as the Site Coordinator for the innovative Mobile Oral Telemedicine program, a collaboration between Botswana and the U-Penn Partnership at Ghanzi Primary Hospital.
In his relentless pursuit of excellence and advanced proficiency in the field of dentistry, Dr. Letswere has completed an array of specialized training. This includes a Dental lmplantology Residential Course in 2009, conducted by the Caribbean Institute of Oral & Maxillofacial lmplantology & Surgery in association with the International Congress of Oral lmplantologists, and an Executive Program in Dental Practice Management offered by the American Dental Association {ADA). Further cementing his academic credentials, Dr. Letswere has earned a Masters of Science in Dental lmplantology from the International Post-Graduate Medical College (IPMC) in Jamaica, Postgraduate Diploma In Orthodontics & Dentofaclal Orthopedics (PG Dip) with the London Dental Institute and a Certificate in Digital Health with Harvard Business School.
Dr. Letswere's professional affiliations are a testament to his expertise and commitment to dentistry. He has held the position of Vice President of the Botswana Dental Association (2018 - 2021), and he is a Fellow and active member of the International Congress of Oral lmplantologists (FICOI) and its Implant Prosthetic Section, Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICO), Fellow of the Faculty of Dentistry (FFD)-IPMC, Associate Fellow of World Clinical Laser Institute (AFWCLI), member of the Botswana Dental Association (BODEA), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the South African Dental Association (SADA).
